Plans for the Good Neighbor Village in Spanaway are moving forward after site development approval last week. Modeled after a facility in Austin, Texas, the project aims to provide supportive housing and services for the chronically homeless. Local leaders hope the Spanaway site will replicate Austin’s success in addressing long-term homelessness while creating a sustainable community solution.
