(The Center Square) – The first group of students are being notified this week of their acceptance to Texas’ first school choice Texas Education Freedom Accounts (TEFA) program. Gov. Greg Abbott said the new program “paves the way for Texas to become the No. 1 state for education. These accounts will give parents the freedom to choose the best learning environment for their children, regardless of their income or location.”
