Supreme Court Declines Hearing Chicago Gun Sales Case

For The Center Square Daily host Greg Bishop looks at the U.S. Supreme Court's decision to decline hearing a case that alleged an Indiana gun shop fueled gun violence in Chicago. The case, Westforth Sports v. Chicago, accused an Indiana gun shop of selling firearms to "straw purchasers," or people who buy an item to conceal the identity of someone else. The case has been in the courts since 2021 but the Supreme Court decided not to take up the appeal, however several other gun related cases remain that they have yet to decide whether to take up or deny.
