Longview School District Under Scrutiny After Superintendent Arrest

The Longview School District is now facing growing scrutiny after Superintendent Karen Cloninger was arrested Thursday as part of an ongoing investigation into alleged sexual misconduct involving students at Mark Morris High School. According to Longview police: Cloninger faces charges including witness tampering, failure to report, and obstructing law enforcement Investigators allege school staff and district leadership knew about allegations involving students but failed to properly report them Another district staff member is also facing allegations tied to the investigation Authorities say the case dates back to February and centers on allegations of physical and sexual misconduct involving students. JOHN BRAUN RAISES CONCERNS OVER SCHOOL POLICIES State Sen.
