California voters will soon decide one of the most closely watched tax measures in the country. State officials have confirmed that the California Billionaire Tax Act has qualified for the November ballot, giving voters the opportunity to weigh in on a proposed one-time 5% tax on billionaire wealth. The measure is projected by supporters to generate approximately $100 billion in revenue. The tax would apply to assets such as stocks, bonds, artwork, and other forms of wealth held by California billionaires. #California #BillionaireTax #WealthTax #Taxes #Economics #Finance #GovernmentSpending #TaxpayerMoney #CaliforniaPolitics #PublicPolicy #StateBudget #ElectionNews #BusinessNews #TaxPolicy #BreakingNews
