Arizona lawmakers have approved a new election security bill that would add additional anti-fraud features to ballots, and the measure is now awaiting a decision from Governor Katie Hobbs. Senate Bill 1057 would require several new ballot security features, including watermarks, customized holograms, and forensic ink technology designed to help verify ballot authenticity. The legislation passed along party-line votes in the Republican-controlled Arizona Legislature and now heads to the governor, who can sign or veto the measure.
