Virginia's new assault weapons ban and large-capacity magazine restrictions have hit another legal roadblock as courts continue to halt enforcement of the law. According to the speaker, four separate lawsuits have been filed challenging the legislation. Two of those cases have already resulted in statewide preliminary injunctions, preventing enforcement while the legal challenges move forward. One injunction bars the Virginia State Police from enforcing the law, while another broader ruling prohibits all law enforcement agencies and prosecutors statewide from enforcing the restrictions. The legal battle over Virginia's firearm regulations is expected to continue and could eventually reach higher appellate courts. #Virginia #SecondAmendment #GunRights #AssaultWeaponsBan #Firearms #CourtRuling #BreakingNews #Politics #GunControl #News #Constitution #LegalNews #VirginiaPolitics #SupremeCourt #2A
