The Center Square's Voters' Voice Poll looked at answers from 2,000+ respondents and found Democrats on a generic ballot lead Republicans by 5 points which is up from 1 point earlier this year. 60% of respondents said the country was moving in the wrong direction while only 30% said it was moving in the right direction. And President Trump's approval rating is in the low 40s. Mike Noble Founder and CEO of Noble Predictive Insights who runs the poll says this all points to an advantage for democrats going into the midterms but not a sure fire win.
