DESCRIPTION
Noble Predictive Insights' new Voters' Voice poll (2,500 registered voters, Aug. 12-16) finds 60% say the country is on the wrong track, versus 30% right track. Democrats hold a 5-point generic ballot edge, up from plus-1 in March while Trump's approval sits in the low 40s. JD Vance leads the 2028 GOP field at 41%, with Marco Rubio second at 18% and no other candidate above 6%. On the Democratic side, Kamala Harris leads at 28%, followed by Gavin Newsom at 14%, Pete Buttigieg at 12%, and15% remain unsure. Harris polls at 47% among Democrats aged 18-29 but only 13% among those 65 and older, pointing to a generational split in the party. Pollster Mike Noble says the economy remains voters' top concern heading into the midterms, with additional survey data coming on healthcare transparency, data centers, and AI attitudes.
