22 states have sued to block the Trump administration from accessing a database containing personal information on roughly 17 million commercial drivers. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy says the data is needed to enforce road safety rules and vowed to fight the lawsuit, calling the states' effort a risk to public safety from unqualified drivers.
