New analysis from the Downtown Seattle Association shows significant employment losses in the city, with more than 18,000 jobs disappearing between 2024 and 2025 and roughly 13,000 of those losses concentrated in downtown Seattle. The findings come as Seattle leaders face questions about how to attract and retain employers, encourage investment and strengthen job growth in the city's downtown core.
