66% of Voters Say Data Centers Should Pay for Grid Upgrades

A new Center Square Voters Voice poll finds 66% of voters say data centers should pay for their own grid upgrades and shows voters split on Flock license plate cameras. The Center Square's Jon Styf joins Host Greg Bishop to talk about the latest Voters' Voice poll. The poll of 2,500 respondents found 36% support pausing new data centers, and twice as many prefer a moratorium as prefer taxpayer incentives. On automatic license plate readers from companies like Flock, Axon and Motorola, 39% say they should be used only for serious crimes or emergencies. Another 29% say they’re worth using generally, and about a quarter say they pose too much privacy risk. The Center Square’s John Stipe breaks down the results.
