Election 2024: Over 3.3 Million Michiganders Have Cast a Ballot; DOJ to Monitor Polling Places

Nearly half of active registered Michigan voters have already cast a ballot in the 2024 General Election, with more than 2.1 million absentee ballots returned and 1.2 ballots cast during early voting as of Monday night. “All the trends we are seeing indicate we are on pace to see another high turnout election with voters all across the state enthusiastic and engaged,” Secretary of State Joceyln Benson said. “I want to thank Michigan’s clerks and election workers–all of whom have done an exceptional job managing the early voting sites, setting up counting boards to preprocess mail-in ballots, and making sure the voting process runs smoothly and securely.”
