Old Fort, NC Shifting from Immediate Recovery to Cold Weather Preparation

Amy Davis's small business, Davis Country Store and Café in Old Fort, cooked food for the community in the days after Hurricane Helene reached western North Carolina. Since then the store has acted as an aid distribution center, providing water, propane and other essentials to the community in addition to meals.
