Old Fort Cafe Owners Started Providing Food, Now Providing Housing

Amy Davis's small business, Davis Country Store and Café in Old Fort, cooked food for the community in the days after Hurricane Helene reached western North Carolina. Her family has since established the Davis Relief Fund, a nonprofit that provides "relief cabins" as temporary housing for those in need.
